Erol joined a panel on climate driven extinction crisis at the Perry World House last month, together with Michael Mann from Penn Earth and Environmental Sciences and Zinta Zommers from the United Nations. The panel was moderated by Simon Richter from Penn Germanic Languages and Literature and was part of Penn’s Climate Week. Erol talked about how climate change is causing populations of many species to decline and exacerbating other pressures on species, and how climate change solutions can also help with biodiversity conservation. See story on Penn Today about the event here.
